ABOUT CA FOUNDATION COURSE

1) When can I register for Foundation Course?

Ans: Candidates may register in Foundation Course after passing Class 10th Examination with icai. online registeration on www.icai.org

2) What is the fee for Foundation Course for registeration with icai?

Ans: Fee for Foundation Course is Rs.9,000/- which is to be paid at the time of registration. This fee is inclusive of Prospectus for CA Course and Study Material of Foundation Course.

3) Where can I get the Study Material of Foundation Course?

Ans: After successful registration in the Foundation Course, the student will receive an e-mail bearing the login credentials for ordering the Study Material through Centralized Distribution System (CDS) Portal. Prospectus for CA Course will be delivered to the student along with the Study Material, whenever ordered by the student. However, the soft copy of Prospectus is web-hosted at Institute’s website i.e. www.icai.org

4) I am currently in Class 11. When I will be eligible for Foundation Examination.

Your first attempt for Foundation Examination will be after appearing in Class 12th examination i.e May 2027

5) How many times exams are conducted during a year

CA Foundation exams are conducted thrice in a year -i.e in the month of january , may & september

6) I have currently appeared for class 12th examination. When I will be eligible for Foundation Examination.

Your first attempt for Foundation Examination will be in the month of september 2026, but you are advised to give January 2027 exam for better preperation & probability of passing will be more.

7) How many papers are there in CAFC

There are 4 papers in Foundation Course which are as under:

Paper 1: Accounting (100 marks)
Paper 2: Business Laws (100 marks)
Paper 3: Quantitative Aptitude (100 marks)
- Business Mathematics
- Logical Reasoning
- Statistics
Paper 4: Business Economics (100 marks)

8) what is the passing criteria for CAFC exam.

Both the following compulsory:

1) 40 marks in each subject.

2) overall 200 marks (50%)

9) After passing CAFC what next ?

1) After passing CAFC exam next level is CA inter.

2) CA inter inter exams will be due thrice in a year similar to CAFC (jan/may/sept). Fees for CA Inter is Rs.18,000/-

3) After passing CA Inter next level is CA Final. Fees for CA Final is Rs.22,000 but students have to undergo 2 years Articleship training under practising Chartered Accountants/CA Firm.

4) After completing 2 years training students will study 6 months for CA Final exams. CA final exams will be conducted 2.5 years after CA inter. (actually 2.5 years after Articleship registration)

5) CA Final exams are also conducted thrice in a year Jan/May/Sept.

10) when to start coaching for CAFC, how coaching will be conducted & fees for full course?

1) Students should start coaching immediately if you are currently in class 11th or going to appear class 11th exams.

2) Coaching will be conducted:

a) For Mumbai students Face to Face classes.

b) For other states students online live through our live portal.

3) Fees for class 11th students or students who are currently in class 12th will be Rs.52,000/-

a) students can pay in bi-instalments of Rs.13,000/-

b) if they pay full amount together then fees will be Rs.47,000 (52,000 - disount 5,000)

12) DO WE HAVE TO JOIN SYJC/12TH STDD CLASSES

IF YOU ARE JOINING SYJC/12TH STD CLASSES THEN IT WILL BE CONDUCTED IN MORNING. IT WILL NOT CLASH WITH OUR CLASS TIMING AS WE CONDUCT LECTURES IN AFTERNOON & EVENING TIME.

13) SYJC CLASSES ARE ALSO PROVIDING CAFC CLASS

SYJC CLASSES MAIN FOCUS IS FIRST ON SYJC & AFTER THAT CAFC.. IF YOU JOIN BOTH SEPERATELY THEN YOU CAN GIVE JUSTICE TO BOTH SYJC & CAFC SEPERATELY.

14) HOW TO MANAGE SCHOOL/COLLEGE AS CLASSES ARE IN AFTERNOON

IN VACATION APRIL TO JUNE 15TH CLASSES ARE IN AFTERNOON. AFTER JUNE 15TH ONCE YOUR COLLEGE RE OPENS CLASSES WILL BE CONDUCTED IN EVENING. SO STUDENTS CAN ATTEND COLLEGE IN AFTERNOON.

15) I DONT STAY IN MUMBAI OR STAY FAR FROM CLASSES SO, HOW CAN I MANAGE.
